ICBL GAME HIGHLIGHTS...

ICBL-15TH CONFERENCE

LAST MARCH 17, SATURDAY we started our much-awaited Inter-Church Basketball League (ICBL) Fifteenth Conference at the Almendras Gym. A total of nine (9) church-teams were accepted to participate in this very exciting ministry activity.
Once again our different church-teams are looking forward for the next two and a half months of having regular ministry with their players.
We would like to extend our appreciation to Baptist Basketball, Perth, WA headed by Brian Ashley for their partnership with our league for the last two (2) years.
To all participating church-teams always remember "IT IS MORE THAN JUST A GAME".

ICBL CEBU NETS TOURNAMENT

Recently, Grace and I went to Cebu City to grace the opening of the ICBL-Nets Cebu City basketball tournament which was participated by two (2) church teams coming from Davao City & Cebu City.
This was one of our vision of bringing ICBL to Cebu City and Metro Manila in the future. Former PBA players Coach Lawrence "Tata" Merced and Coach Alfonso "Al" Solis organized the opening of this short league.
One of the objectives of the league was to established a strong sports ministry amongst the different church teams. Allowing them to see that they can use basketball as a tool to do missions activity in their community and other places in the country.
We were very happy with the result of the short league. We look forward for another session in Cebu City this coming summer.
